APC X NIKE

APC X NIKE Collab, quite possibly the best combination ever. Now I want to know if there is a hidden heel there. Boom.

I used my good old shredder (the one from this post) to get some crepe action for a potato. This is gluten free too, by default..
Totally obsessed with this weather and walking in it. A great mix here for an hour long brisk walk! Woop!
L’officiel, great fashion publication for those who don’t want to bother with the subjective editorials. The images of accessories designed by brands are all laid out on white, unplucked by buyers and untouched by stylists. You get to see the full range of unedited stuff. Of course it makes the reading quite dry, but that’s exactly what I like. This new Kate Moss coffee table book is perfect for inspiration. The book is beautifully laid out and you get to see so much of her editorial work. The book is generous but somehow I want more. And Acne Paper, not much more to say but it has to be one of the classiest fashion publications. Text and image heavy. Not for the general public (steers clear from anything lowbrow) but definitely A+. Thanks to my friend who gave me this Acne Paper and Kate Moss book.
Took some quick snaps for a preview.
In a sea of shoes and accessories my eyes tend to glaze over, but once in a while you see something that sticks out like a sore thumb. This shoe is far from provocative but these design details are coordinated perfectly. The black leather band adds a nice solid finish to the annoyingly detailed lace up detail. Always have a problem with these lace up details because they get in the way of everything but in this case you can just zip and go. And the maroon is perfection. These shoes are by Daniele Michetti. 0ne of the other things about L’officiel is that you find great stuff that never makes it to the magazines and blogs.

Current Obsession, a simple, chic chocolate cake with interchanging layers of chocolate ganache. This is the best way to finish off a dinner. You can order one at Neiman Marcus online all year round but I think it’s definitely doable at home without having to pay the icky $115. (Images via Google and Neiman Marcus.com)
I will not be able to get over this image from HL’s runway show back when Mr. Lang was actually designing. The blocked off turtleneck plus slightly disheveled pencil case clutch…still my mind boggles just thinking about how influential his language is today with some designers who have quite literally lifted his aesthetic with no shame. A++.

Very hard for me to be completely objective when it comes to fashion accessories. Sometimes you know when something is copied directly, and other times it is very similar to the original but still modified. But then again designers have similar ideas all the time. I am quite flattered to see the distinct familiarity between my purse design and the one from H&M. I very RARELY shop at H&M, and when I find something I just have to buy from there (like the perfect knit basic) I hate myself for it.
Randomly found this via Pinterest through a friend who has a board, she linked me to it. Though the website is in some other language I have no idea what she is saying! Original link here.

I have no idea what’s going on as of late but it seems as fashion houses have zero-d in on the luxury flask carrier, whether it be on your wrist, or around the neck/shoulder. These Chanel ones are excellent, I even told my friend to get them because it would be perfectly suited to her (she got slightly offended). They come in natural and black leather with the inescapable double C logo.

It’s so freezing lately, and right now this image of Einstein with furry slippers makes so much sense.

Possibly the most reblogged, retumbled, repinned, reposted set of words but I think it is still worth posting again.

My favorite look from the Dior show. But I can’t help but feel like the designer himself looked the best out of all the flowered ladies.

Love pancakes & waffles and a part of me now wants to try these thick pancakes which are more like miniature dessert cakes. Technically these are like Japanese hotcakes. Look scrumptious.
