Gatsby of Fashion

The startling similarities between Jay Gatsby and Halston are clear. Both from Midwestern backgrounds, headed east for a reinvention. It was a well known fact that Halston had a 100k a year Orchid habit. His life was no cautionary tale, but legendary. I love his style right now, tuxes and simple turtlenecks with jackets. And his interiors, my god. Never before have I craved an all grey living room, or an all crimson office space.
